Choral Guild performance was a real treat
The recent Williamsburg Choral Guild performance of "LUX: The Dawn from on High," composed by Dan Forrest, conducted by Artistic Director Brian Isaac, was truly illuminating and emotionally thrilling.
There were many moments when I could not contain the tears of joy and glory I felt from an incredible score and text. Williamsburg residents need to know our Choral Guild has incredible balance and quality, singing with a sound sense of being "one voice," with all sections contributing in such an integrated and nuanced way.
Thanks to the director, chorus and instrumentalists who brought this seamless and other-worldly work to life. My wife and I are looking forward so much to the next season.
